Vintage 1995 American Oak

The Vintage 1995 was the first ever Vintage specifically laid in cask with the intention of, when mature, bottling as The Glenrothes. However, at that stage, some of these casks were held back. The whisky was moved, filling 100 percent first-fill American Oak casks, seasoned only with Dry Oloroso Sherry. Now, a full 21 years on, the result is this outstanding expression.

The flavours are complex, delivering a long and delicately satisfying taste with light fruit and vanilla spiciness, encased in a honeyed sweetness. It truly is another wonderful addition to the ever increasing Glenrothes stable.
